What is a Peppol BIS invoice?

Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 is the invoice specification used on the Peppol network, which is mandatory for B2B invoices in Belgium since 2026 and widely used in the Netherlands, the Nordics and for public procurement across Europe. The files are UBL 2.1 XML. Many senders embed a PDF copy of the invoice inside the XML; this viewer lets you download it.

Supported formats

Private by design

Invoices contain bank details, prices and customer data. This viewer runs entirely in your browser: files are read locally with JavaScript and are never uploaded to a server. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.
