How it works
- Drop your CII XML invoice (EN 16931 or Factur-X profile) on the box above.
- Check the preview and, if you like, click “Validate (EN 16931)”.
- Click “Create Factur-X PDF”. The PDF/A-3 is built in your browser with your XML embedded unchanged.
Which XML files work?
UN/CEFACT Cross Industry Invoice (CII) files with the EN 16931, BASIC, BASIC WL, MINIMUM or EXTENDED profile. UBL, Peppol and XRechnung files cannot be embedded as Factur-X, because the standard requires CII syntax. The XML is embedded byte for byte; the visible page is drawn from the same data.

Private by design
Invoices contain bank details, prices and customer data. This viewer runs entirely in your browser: files are read locally with JavaScript and are never uploaded to a server. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.
Frequently asked questions
Is the XML changed?
No. It is embedded exactly as you provide it.
Can I convert UBL or XRechnung to Factur-X?
Not directly: that would require converting the data to a different syntax. You can create a new CII invoice with the generator on this site.
Is it free and private?
Yes. Nothing is uploaded.
