How it works
- Drop one or more .xml or .pdf invoices on the box above, or click to choose files.
- The invoice is shown as a clear, readable document with parties, line items, VAT and payment details.
- Print it, save it as PDF, or export the data to Excel or CSV for your accounting.
What is XRechnung?
XRechnung is Germany’s national specification (CIUS) of the European e-invoicing standard EN 16931. It is required for invoices to German public authorities and is one of the formats businesses use for B2B e-invoicing in Germany. An XRechnung can use either UBL or UN/CEFACT CII syntax. This viewer reads both, including XRechnung 3.0.
Why can’t I just open it?
An XRechnung contains only data, without a visual layout. Opening it in a browser or text editor shows raw XML tags. A viewer like this one maps the data fields (seller, buyer, Leitweg-ID, line items, VAT, IBAN) to a readable layout.
Supported formats
- XRechnungUBL and CII syntax, versions 2.x and 3.x (Germany).
- ZUGFeRD / Factur-XHybrid PDF with embedded XML, all profiles from MINIMUM to EXTENDED.
